<p>Chocolate Agar consists of GC Agar Base with added hemoglobin and KoEnzyme Enrichment. GC Agar Base contains proteose peptone which provides nitrogenous nutrients. Hemoglobin releases hemin (X-factor) components. The phosphate buffer is added to maintain the pH of the medium.</p>
